Corrupted Videos

I am using motion detection to record. The clips seem to contain corruption at certain points meaning that when played back through VLC the video will stop playback after reaching a certain point (usually 5-10 seconds). If I play the video and then scrub forward past the point of corruption the video then continues playing to the end.

Any one have any ideas what could be causing this?

I’ve just discovered something - when I open the video from windows explorer it plays perfectly. It’s only when I launch the video from the NetStudio library that it stops before the end. Very strange.
