So my next goal is to try using a web service JSON call to turn on motion detection. My goal, if possible, is to setup IFTTT to have a rule like “If I leave home, turn on Netcam motion detection”. IFTTT will make web service calls, but this may be tricky since I’ll need to login, obtain a session token, then turn on the motion detection.
This have been up to discussion before in the forum. Search for bluetooth and you will find earlier discussion which might give you some ideas.
