I notice the the clicking only last for about half the time of the the recorded movement.
I suspect that it is related to the Wyze proprietary software.
I may be wrong but I think there are two streams coming from the camera
Their software and the RTSP
The Wyze camera seems to used frequently with no problems. Try to reload the firmware again. Also in the Settings you can change from software_internal to software_vlc. Test that.
Yes found that setting , same noise, only for the first part of recording.
This was mentioned on the wyze forum a couple months ago with beta software, they went back to previous version and noise went away.
I have the latest Non beta firmware. I am going to see if i can find the old beta software to try.
When I first tried the RTSP beta firmware it worked ,but kicked off another non wyze rtsp camera.
I really like the Netcam software, I will keep experimenting

When I use vlc to live stream , I get no sound at all
Enter the rtsp URL directly in VLC and test.
Yes I get no noise in vlc live stream .
I tried another software AnyCam no noise recorded
I have a request in at wyze forum for an old firmware version as it is not listed
I just installed an old beta for Rtsp on pan 4.20.3.48 and the noise is gone
Now I need the old v2 rtsp firmware
