I have been trying to connect to my Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I for a few days without luck. I am running a Dell box with a fresh load of Win7 64bit and all the updates have been installed. I have also installed the latest .NET and C++ as recommended on your site. When I attempt a connection the screen stays blank. So I checked the logs in NS and all I can see for an event is “Stream Event Received [StoppedByUser]”. What does this mean? I also have tried connecting to webcam XP on your trial version without luck. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

I know my camera is working - as I can see the live feed in the Hikvision browser interface.
Yes. Try installing the 21 day trial for webcamxp private and webcam7 and try connecting again with netcam studio. That was the trick for me.
not sure what i’m doing wrong - i’ve downloaded both of these programs, installed them and they both work fine.
But I still can’t see my camera feeds in Studio
What does the log file say?
Do you have an url/address to a stream from this camera that works in VLC ?
