Ah quite evidently I didn’t read the article on the guide for clean install. I should have thought about programdata in the first place, anyway! In a future release, could we have better handling of corrupt config files or other errors instead of crashing with null exceptions? Its much better than to delete programdata folder to get things working again.

Thank you for your help. Running Revo-Uninstaller and manually deleting the ProgramData folder did the trick for me. Now I am wondering if my license will transfer to this new machine.

No it will not since it is new hardware. Just send the license number to support@netcamstudio.com an it will be reset.

This was an interesting thread - and in MHO - should be preserved in it’s entirety.
Was reading through a VM thread several days ago and the thread was somehow trimmed and the final resolve was gone into never never land.
Don’t know how this forum software handles archival issues - but I believe this thread should be saved.
