Anyone know how to get audio working?

I have a Foscam FI8910W. I have it connected with the Network Camera tab in edit video source but audio does not work even though it is supposed to be a “supported” camera. I also have a Hikvision DS-2CD2532F-IS. I have this one connected with the custom url tab and have tried

http:// and rtsp://IPADDRESS:554//Streaming/Channels/1
http:// and rtsp://IPADDRESS:554//Streaming/Channels/2
http:// and rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/video.h264

but can’t get audio working on this one either. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! Foscam is popular, but not always easy to work with ;).
Adding the Foscam using predefined template support according to Video preset jpeg and mjpeg which are image formats and do not include audio. To get audio you need to use Custom URL and rtsp and the format mpeg4 or h.264 which include both image and audio.
For Foscam search the Internet with cam name and rtsp and you get som ideas. Some suggestions are using Custom URL with stream type rtsp_tcp and URL
rtsp://Iusername:password@PADDRESS:554/videoMain
rtsp://username:password@IPADDRESS:88/videoMain
If it is an ONVIF compliant cam you can test to add it using the ONVIF Tab.

For the Hikvision I assume you have the video working. Don´t forget username:password i the rtsp. Go into the configuration of the camera and in the audio configuration there are some parameters that can be set that might be the problem. The rtsp URL´s you suggest seems to be the standard ones for this cam.
