I have some cameras set up on the outside of my house. I am getting way too many motion detection recordings- most of the time I can’t even tell what triggers them. I am looking for suggestions for the configuration of the motion detection settings to only get recordings for major events. I have been trying to tweak the settings a per the manual but I have not had any luck. Can someone please let me know a suggested setting base line? I am really only interested in seeing people, cars, animals, etc recorded. Thanks,
Yes, this is tricky. In the forum section for guides and tutorials there are some posts about that.
I assume you use the signal bar to better see what triggers the motion detector.
I have been using blob detection as algorithm and it improved the result.
