Image flipped vertically

Hi,

I’ve just bought a licence for the Moonware Universal Source Filter.

The camera I am using displays correctly in VLC Player when using the direct MJPEG stream. However, using the Moonware Universal Filter to access the same camera results in the image being flipped vertically.

The DirectShow application I am using does not allow me to flip the image vertically. Is there any way to do this with the Universal Source Filter or is this a bug?

Hi,
Difficult to say, but in WebcamXP/7, Skype and Netcam Studio we do not see any problems. What is the application?

Hi Henrik,

Our application is for traffic monitoring.

We see the same issue using AMCAP and Skype, so I really think the problem is with the MUSF.

In Skype you are correct (sorry, I was mirroring the other way above)

In AMCAP it is correct

This difference is new for us and there are many users of this filter.
I will ask our developers about this.
