Netcam Studio works fine in motion detection or continuous recording and files are stored and I can see them in the Library. However, when I try to play them they are empty and the size is 200-300 Bytes or 0 Bytes when I check on the HD. What is going on?
When a recording is finished it will be encoded into an mp4-file. The encoder need quite a lot of information to compress the file. When the encoder has too little information the resulting saved video will be 0 or just a couple of hundred bytes. This happens when the setting for the recording is 1-2 fps. Increase that to 2-4 fps or what is necessary for it to work.
