I’m new to Netcam Studio, and the security software on the whole. I would like to ask a question about the Netcam Studio Server. This may sound stupid, but what server exactly are they talking about? What IP do they want? The program seems to find my cameras without filling this out, but I would like to know how to use this software to it’s fullest abilities.

Good question. It depends a little in which content. It seems that you are using the tab for ONVIF Source since it finds the camera IP automatically. When you want to connect to Netcam Studio with the windows client or the web client is asks for server or source or … There you should use the IP number of the computer running Netcam Studio.
