Some features do not remain deactivated after restart

I use the latest version 1.9.5 (x64) on windows 10, and I had noticed for some time that when I deactivate the motion detection or timelapse feature on any camera, using the right click option, or directly in the configure feature option, that setting is lost when I stop and restart the server.

I pressed the save button in the setting option multiple time but it does not change anything. if I change a setting like the timelapse frame interval, that setting will be saved in the Server.config text file when I press save, as I can see the file timestamps will update and I can find the new interval value in the text file.

But deactivating motion or timelapse from the menu will not stick. I tried running the server with admin rights, but no change

Is it an option we can change directly in the config.server or Rules.xml file? or is that setting stored somewhere else?

After every reboot I have to remember to disable those options otherwise my hard disk starts to fill up with unneeded recordings

Check the Schedule for the camera if these features are enabled. It seems like they are.

you were right, the scheduler was re-activating the disabled features, so I set the scheduler to no-action for the whole week, and the motion and timelapse are staying de-activated now as expected behavior
