I would really like to be able to choose what gets synchronized. Right now it just makes a duplicate of the library in the destination folder. I would like to be able to choose what to sync.
For example we do an image capture and a short recording on motion detection. After 60 days we want to purge the recordings but keep the images. Right now I can’t seem to do this OOTB. If I could just sync the images to the alternate storage and use the built in retention it would have been gravy.
I did notice that Netcam Studio is very limited in the Library management, perhaps it would be a good idea to take one version and dedicate it to expanding the options.
Here is a small list. Others are welcome to chip in;
- Choose what to sync
- Choose a different destination for categories. (Capture: Drive 2, Recordings: server 2, etc)
- OneDrive Sync Support
I will add more as I think of them.
