Tapo C211 PTZ Issue

Hi Henrik,

I am having an issue with PTZ on Netcam server with a Tapo C211 Camera.

The PTZ operates correctly under Tapo’s own Android app so I know that part works correctly.

I can configure the cam via ONVIF in NetCam but the camera does not respond to the PTZ commands.

I can see from the servers log that the commands are being issued correctly.

To try and get to the bottom of this I have tested in Blue Iris and the PTZ works correctly and I have also tested in Agent DVR (I SPY sucessor) and that also works correctly.

Is there anything else that I can try?

On a side note what happens after July 2025 does all develpoment/fixes on the software cease to happen - assuming no one purchases the source code and picks up the mantle?

Hi Mark,
Thanks for info and I am aware of these issues with PTZ. For some cameras it works and for some it do not. This is not further addressed in the last version 1.9.8 of NCS.
There are no development going on with NCS. In last version that’s free only some Net Framework libraries are updated. So that’s the end of NCS for now. The software is available for purcvhase.
