I have a Dell M610 with dual X5675’s and 32GB of ram and two 10K SAS 600GB Drives. With 8 rtsp sources connected and it just seams to shutdown after a few hours of use.

Thanks,

Mike

I have received your crash report related to this problem.

Actually it seems to timeout when trying to initialize a new audio stream (to be played in the web client or in the windows client).

Anyway I will now fix this so that instead of crashing, it will just refuse to deliver audio stream in case this operation times out like it seems the case on your system (which is probably quite busy for this to occur).

You can give a try to 1.3.6.7 which should fix this specific issue:

If you can please also report about the following:

  • Resolution / Framerate of your cameras (+ Ideally the make & models)
  • What features are enabled (do you have motion detection or constant recording on all of them) ?

I’ve updated my test system with this version, connected the 7 cameras which I have here and trying to reproduce the timeout (so that I can ensure it’s properly fixed but even by setting everything to highest resolution, despite my computer’s cpu suffers I don’t manage to reproduce the problem so far)

I am using WOWA server as my source. I have fired the system backup and I will keep you posted.

Thanks,

Mike
