TP-Link Tapo C320WS

I have Tapo 320WS hooked to my LAN. I can access camera via the Tapo App and I can access RTSP feed in VLC no problem. I cannot get the RTSP feed to work on Netcam

I go to Custom URL and put in the following:
rtsp://cameraipaddress/stream1 - this is what works in VLC

I even tried
rtsp://username:password@cameraipadress/stream1

Please help

That should work in Custom URL
Stream type rtsp_tcp or rtsp_udp
Do NOT use special characters in credentials.
You might need to add port number
Check for no extra spaces.
rtsp://username:password@cameraipadress:554/stream1

that is what I used with success with my Tapo C120

Unfortunately, I cannot configure the camera using ONVIF, although it’s compatible and other applications can access it via ONVIF.

It seems Netcam cannot handle ONVIF with newer cameras on the market and I need to resort to dumb video streaming only, losing the advanced features ONVIF provides…

What would be the stream type? Still not working
Tried it in VLC and downloaded Blue Iris trial version and it works there too

I really like Netcam, but If I cant get these Tapo cameras setup I cant use it

To make Tapo camera communicate with outside world beyond Tapo application you have to create account and use that to access it.

Already did that - was able to access it in Blue Iris and VLC no problem

Cant get it to work with netcam may have to go another route. My amcrest cameras connect fine to Netcam, but I wanted better quality picture. These tapo cameras look pretty good

RTSP_TCP stream is what I use
