V 1.9.5.0 keeps freezing

Did a full reinstall. Fixed the issue.

Excellent and thanks for info. When it starts to go really wrong best or easiest is to do a full or as we call it a clean installation.

I’m running Netcam Studio on Windows Server 2019 and have recently updated the reliable 1.9.2.0 to the newer 1.9.5.0 version.
Netcam service freezes at least once a day now. It’s impossible to stop or restart the service and the only remedy is to restart the whole computer. There is nothing related to Netcam in Event Viewer.
I’ve tried to downgrade back to the 1.9.2.0 version, however, the installer would not let me. How do I downgrade without uninstalling and avoiding spending hours setting up everything again?

Run Netcam Studio X and it will give more info in the Windows Event Viewer.
Most likely a corrupted system file. Check if it was an update of net framework at the same time. Uninstall that update, make sure NCS runs and then do a Windows update.
Also install Visual C++ from the NCS download page. That sometimes helps.
