Webcam 7 - No Audio

Hello!

I’ve been asked to look into this for a bit of a news bulletin streaming service.

I’ve set it up on my machine (Windows 8.1) and I’ve tried on a laptop too (Windows 7).

Video works perfectly, but no sound. I’ve tried a headset microphone, desktop microphone and built in. The microphones work fine on sound recorder. I have tried all sound input options on Webcam 7. Tried ports 8080 and 9000. Windows Firewall is switched off.

I’m out of ideas.

Do you guys have any suggestions for me?

Sound streaming is only available when using Windows Media (webcamXP) or Flash Streaming (webcam 7).
